Criteria B
In order for an individual to shop online they must have a computer and access to the internet. In simple term the computer is “a device that computes, especially a programmable electronic machine that performs high-speed mathematical or logical operations or that assembles, stores, correlates, or otherwise processes information.” (Ansers.com)

The World Wide Web functions using HTML code and other features. It’s a big network and is powered by impersonal routers, servers, browsers and computer codes; it's fundamentally a tool for connecting people and information. (Howstuffworks.com). In order for the internet to function properly it needs a computer that is why both these IT systems are needed for e-commerce.

A very well known online shopping website is www.amazon.com. In order for a person to purchase from Amazon they must set up a user name and password for their account. Figure [1] below illustrates how it functions using both a computer and the internet.

The figures below show how simple online shopping. Another IT system that is needed for online shopping is a bank account and accredit card. Figure [2] elucidates how important it is for an individual to have a credit card and a bank account.
Due to the wide spread of computers nowadays it is easy to see why people would prefer to e-commerce just sitting on a computer a shopping without having to go anywhere. Not only are computers widespread but it is very unusual to find a person that does not have internet access, a bank account or a credit card, which is one the main reasons why e-commerce is so popular today.

In the future there may not be any more shopping malls due to the increasing popularity and convenience of online shopping credit cards will be replaced by cash.
